During the American Civil War, Major General John A. McClernand was in charge of the Union forces operating in the upper Mississippi River region. He was appointed to command the Army of the Mississippi, overseeing operations aimed at securing control of the river and its strategic locations. His leadership was particularly noted during the Vicksburg Campaign, although his tenure was marked by controversies and conflicts with other Union generals.
The siege and battle of Vicksburg were a great defeat for the south and a very important victory for the Union. Some of the effects of the battle: * General Grant captured the notice of Lincoln, who promoted him and placed him in charge of the Union armies. * The Mississippi River was available to transport troops and supplies for the Union. * The Mississippi River could be used for export to allow the north to earn trade credits with other countries. * The south was divided, with the important state of Texas cut off from the remainder of the Confederacy. The combination of the clear win at Vicksburg and the slightly more ambiguous win at Gettysburg, both reported in newspapers on July 4, 1863, encouraged northerners to believe that the war could be won. The south had no way of winning the war after this time. It would take two more years and 300,000 more deaths for the war to reach its almost inevitable conclusion from this point.
General Dwight Eisenhower was in charge.
No one was in charge of Hitler, he was the head of government in Germany at the time of World War 2.

do you charge for grants
No Grant was not at Gettysburg, he was in Vicksburg, Mississippi on July 3rd

dont have the money to pay for a grant. is there any help out there to get a free grant with no money.
The United States government has a database available where people can search for grants at no charge. People searching for grants need to proceed with caution if they come upon a site that charges them for the same information.
In order to double the voltage across a capacitor, you need to stuff twice as much charge into it.
The voltage drop across a capacitor is directly proportional to the amount of charge stored in it. This means that as the charge stored in a capacitor increases, the voltage drop across it also increases.
There are no or negligible costs (e.g. a stamp or finding internet access) to applying for the Pell Grants. Applications are made through the FAFSA, which is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, and there is no charge.
No, capacitors in series do not have the same charge. The charge on each capacitor depends on its capacitance and the voltage across it.
To measure the change in energy per unit charge across a resistor, you can use the formula E = VQ, where E is the energy, V is the voltage across the resistor, and Q is the charge passing through it. By measuring the voltage across the resistor and the charge passing through it, you can calculate the energy per unit charge.
