The Right Honourable The Earl Lloyd-George of Dwyfor, P.C., was the prime minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in 1917. The Earl Lloyd-George (then simply the Right Honourable David Lloyd George, P.C.) was invited by His Majesty George V to become prime minister on 7 December 1916, and served through 22 October 1922.

Herbert Asquith- he served as Liberal Prime Minister from 7th April 1908 until early December 1916, during a particularly turbulent time in British (and indeed global) history. His time in office saw militant Suffragette riots, the massive industrial unrest of 1911, the Titanic disaster, the two Balkan Wars, Italy's war against Libya, Britain's entry into WW1 in early August 1914 and the Irish Rebellion of Easter 1916.
He was replaced on 7th December 1916 by his Chancellor David Lloyd George, the first Welshman to hold the office. He was PM until October 1922.
