Hitler has been named one of the greatest speakers of all time, he had charisma, determination that Germany would prevail and overcome and the skills to bring the excited Germans to the forefront of the super Aryan race he visualized. He wanted a super race of Germans, all Jews exterminated. It was not until the last minute when the allies were appoaching that he realized he had lost,it all, and,in his bunker, shot himself and his dog, with mistress Eva Braun taking poison. it is not. The people who perpetrated the Holocaust may have been, or the Holocaust may have some roots in antisemitism, but it is a name given to the events, it holds not prejudice, it just is.
They didn't want to participate. The Holocaust was the mass genecide of some 6 million Jews, gypsies, homosexuals, and other "undesired people". What's amazing is the number of people who DID participate.

The Holocaust
Many Jewish people were too traumatized even to mention the Holocaust and what they had gone through, but when some of them heard people say that the holocaust never happened they overcame theri traumas and told their stories, or of the stories of their families.
The Holocaust was a genocide, not a suicide. Some people may have done that but I believe most people still wanted to live.
Many Holocaust survivors relocated to the United States and other countries. Some of them wrote and gave speeches about their experiences.
