The Germans got into WW 2 because they started the war.

Hitler's motives were

* to re-establish the political and military power that Germany had before World War 1,

* to become a global player at eye-level with the U.S.,

* to expand the Reich territory into Eastern Europe (= new "living space" for the Germans),

* to control the Russian & Arabian oil fields,

* to establish satellite regimes in France, Italy and throughout Europe,

* to eliminate Jews and other ethnic minorities regarded as "parasites" not only in Germany, but throughout Europe.

Germany got involved with WW2 because Hitler was Chancellor and he wanted revenge for the trouble Germany had from WW1. Hitler served in WW1 and was horrified when Germany surrendered. He was even more horrified when Germany was made to pay reparations, take the war guilt, surrunder land and their navy, airforce, and loose most of their army. Hitler's vision was to become ruler of Germany, then the world, hence creating a master race. He believed Germans were the superior race and was simply outraged at what Germany had to suffer from world war 1, he wanted revenge.

CommentBy 1932 Germany had managed to rid itself of many of the most onerous provisions of the Treaty of Versailles. In particular, most reparations had been suspended several months before Hitler came to power.

The key problem was that since about 1890 many Germans were deeply unhappy that (in their view) their political status didn't match their economic, scientific and academic (!) achievements. From about 1840-1930 the German education system and especially its universities were viewed with much admiration abroad, and widely imitated. From the 1890s onwards, many German professors and others couldn't understand why 'decadent' France and 'uneducated' Britain had vast empires while 'civilized, educated' Germany didn't. The answer of course was simply that politics doesn't work like that: the distribution of territory isn't a reward or prize for academic success and the like.

The reason for both world wars was overweaning pride on the part of key German elites. As for Versailles, it provided grounds for self-pity - something always valued by people who want a cover for aggressive intentions. Germany was hoping to achieve a fundamental change in its status in the world.

AnswerGermany didn't JOIN World War 2, it STARTED World War 2 by invading Poland.

Germany started ww2. This guy named Hitler (ha ha) came up with an idea to Purify Germany, followed by Europe eventualy making the entire world a pure race. The blond hair blue eyed perfect race. He started with trying to rid Germany of Jews, over 6 million of them. I believe his brain was rotting with syphlis. I belive his hatred of Jewish people began when as a young man he was turned down by an art school by a Jewish person. Hitler was a sick demented soul.It takes a real monster to come up with an idea like racial extinction. But it makes you wonder, what about the millions who followed him??

Comment

Actually Hitler was responding to the constant interference in German affairs by Jewish immigrants who had absolutely no intention of assimilating or integrating with their hosts. Jews are fundamentally - by their very beliefs - racist and segregators. They believe that they are God's "chosen peoples" and are as such superior to all other races. Just ask them!

After centuries of persecution, they realized that their lifestyles and refusal to assimilate had, and would continue to cause them problems until they established their own lands, ie. Israel. This is the fundamentals of the ZIONIST movement that was around LONG BEFORE HITLER. He just studied their methods and motives and quickly worked out that they were not interested in helping Germany or the German people, so decided to do something about it. Relocation.

It is called National Pride.

The Zionists even negotiated with Hitler to resettle the European Jews to Palestine (who cares about those pesky Arabs who happened to be living there...) the only problem was that not many Jews actually wanted to resettle in a desert.

They just needed a little encouragement to relocate, which they did with the help of the Zionist and the Rabbis and later the Jewish Councils and Jewish Police.

Hitler and the Zionist reached an agreement regarding the relocation of Jews to Palestine called the Haavara Agreement.

An example of certificate issued by Haavara to Jews emigrating to Palestine:

CERTIFICATE

The Trust and Transfer Office "Haavara" Ltd. places at the disposal of the Banks in Palestine amounts in Reichmarks which have been put at its disposal by the Jewish immigrants from Germany. The Banks avail themselves of these amounts in Reichmarks in order to make payments on behalf of Palestinian merchants for goods imported by them from Germany. The merchants pay in the value of the goods to the Banks and the "Haavara" Ltd. pays the countervalue to the Jewish immigrants from Germany. To the same extent that local merchants will make use of this arrangement, the import of German goods will serve to withdraw Jewish capital from Germany.

The Trust and Transfer Office,

HAAVARA, LTD.

We hereby confirm, that in accordance with the above arrangement, we have transferred to-day, by order of Messrs. ______ the sum of (Haavara) Reichmarks: _____ in payment of invoice dated _____ as per order dated ___. Equivalent of above amounting to ___ has been received by us. Dated ____ The above sum in Reichmarks has been transferred to the exporter/s ________ of __________, (German)

The Haavara agreement was highly controversial. While it helped German Jews to emigrate, it also provided a major market for German goods in Palestine, thereby helping Germany's weak economy at a time when many Jews felt that German goods should be boycotted.

Adolph Hitler acquired Power in a relatively short time, He wanted to conquer the world..and felt that The German People were superior to others...At a time when the German economy was faltering ...He spoke out against the government, and the many jobless Germans, were given jobs building the AutoBahns. Germany most likely started WWII. The Allies were all about appeasement and avoiding war. Germany took advantage of this fear and eventually invaded Poland, which was a direct attack on the Allied order not to invade Poland. The next day the Allied Forces declare war on Germany, thus the start of WWII.
Germany attacked Poland which was France and England's ally so they declared war on Germany.

because Poland wouldn't give them the town of danzig on the polsih German border a town which is almost all German also the polish army killed more than 300 Germans in danzig for treason because they supported Hitler.England and France delcared war and Germany was forced to invade Belgium and holland to prevent England from using them as a base to invade Germany and Norway so England couldn't bomb them from the north, they attacked Russia because they had stationed more than 4 million troops in Poland while Germany only had 1 million it was seen as a threat too many troops that close to the German border.

Germany invaded Poland in 1939 after the English Prime Minister had came back for a meeting with Hitler convinced the Germany would not take over any more countries (they signed a non-agression pact). England just could not believe that he would stop there and sooner orlater he would take England. He did start a mass bombing of London.

The NAZIs were build up by US- and German capitalists and their task was to destroy socialists within Germany and than the destroy the socialist USSR. ... on the way too they bombed socialist Spain Republic to install the fascist dictator Franco. They has the same task as in Italian Fascists: Killing of the own people to avoid them to copy the this time attractive system of the USSR. USSR had around 1929, the so-called "world" economic crisis, huge growth rates and the capitalists expected a world revolution - at least an European Socialism (see Eduard Stadtler: Weltrevolutionskrieg/ World revolution war)
