The F-22 Raptor has a combat radius of approximately 1,839 kilometers (1,140 miles) without refueling, which translates to around 2 to 3 hours of flight time under combat conditions. However, with aerial refueling, the aircraft can remain airborne for much longer, potentially extending its operational time to over 10 hours. Factors such as mission profile, fuel consumption, and payload can affect these durations.

The Air Force admits to 1,500 mph, -personally I think it may be faster than that.

Well, personally, I prefer the F-22. As far as dogfighting performance they're very similar, but the F-22 has the distinction of being stealth. Therefor, long range air to air, or surface to air missiles can't target it
The plane that escorts Air Force One is typically an Air Force fighter jet, such as the F-15 or F-16. These jets are responsible for providing protection and security for the President's plane during flight.
The F-22 Raptor was made to give air-suporitory to the US. It is a sealth fighter that can also attack ground targets if need be. Because it it stealth, radar has a hard time seeing it, which is another reason. Stealth is made to increase the life of an avrage plane in combat.
Currently, the B2 Spirit and the F22 Raptor. The F117 Nighthawk has been retired, as has the 'reduced RCS' SR-71 Blackbird. The F35 isn't scheduled to be delivered until 2016.
