The World War II Jeeps were manufactured in the United States of America by Ford. Approximately 145 were supplied to each Army Infantry regiment. Their were two models the MB model and the GPW model.
Jeeps weren't used in WW1
There were many. One of the most famous was Willow Run in Ypsilanti. They produced bombers there throughout the war. Many of the auto plants turned out tanks and jeeps as well as trucks.
