It depends. Defending: If you have been colonized before and te enemy had 30000 warriors and 30000 archers like what happened to me, you would want an army of about 40000 warriors, 3000 ballistae, 2000 catipults, and about 10000 archers. You also want wall defences.
Attacking: If you are attacking a village you will want about 5000 warriors. If it's a town about 10000. Fort 40000. City 100000-250000. It all depends on what troops they have.
You need about millions of troops

That depends on how many troops you are sending at the selected city.
depends on the level. 10k is good for a lv2 npc
It does not matter how many troops you have. You can still be drafted.
400000 warriors nothing else city does have 3666 AT, 11000 traps logs and tribuckets so watch out
You click on REPORTS and then on ARMY MOVEMENT, select the appropriate army (it has most likely the status CAMP) and click on VIEW.
Go to your rallyspot and click exercise Excercise is where you test how many troops can defeat what, I uses it to test Npc and my enimy city attacks but best way to do this is to use evo.calc.com
The number of troops required to conquer a level 14 historical holy city in Evony Age 2 will depend on various factors such as the type and level of troops you have, the strategies and tactics you employ, and the defenses of the holy city. It is recommended to have a strong army with a mix of different troop types and high-level generals, along with sufficient siege weapons and resources for reinforcement and healing.

It would prolly take the top 150 all working together to do it.
