A 3 propeller engine airplane is called a tri-motor. The Ford tri-motor was a popular commercial airplane in the early 1930s. It was replaced by the DC3.

During the 1930's 3 engine aircraft were quite popular and there were many of them . The most built was the German Junkers 52. After WW2 they lost popularity and about the only ones I can recall are the De Havilland Drover, built by DH Australia and the Short Trislander, both built as short haul airliners.

What is the lift coefficient for aircraft powered by 320HP single engine aircraft with 3 blades made by Hartzell propeller?

I'm not sure if I understand you question but Lift Coefficient refers to the lifting force of a wing. Engines do not provide Lift; only Thrust.

What does the BMW logo stand for?

Bavarian motor works BMW is Bavarian Motor Works. The "logo" is the rotation of a propeller on an aircraft engine. BMW started with aircraft engines, then motor cycles, then cars.

How a propeller engine runs an airplane?

A propeller is a wing. When the engine rotates the propeller, the curved surfaces of the propeller develop lift just as the main wing does. Since the "lift" is in a forward direction instead of upward, the aircraft is pulled forward. Surprisingly, the outer 1/3 of the propeller provides almost all of the lift pulling the aircraft.

To "propel" the aircraft through the air.

Main purpose of aircraft propeller?

The main purpose of an aircraft propeller is to pull the aircraft through the air. and also to convert the rotational force to thrust or lift.

Why do many transport planes still use propeller engines rather than jet engines?

Propeller engine, also called turboprop, is a members of the jet family. Each aircraft has a unique mission and therefore a unique propulsion requirement. Transport plane carries cargo a long distance, but it does not have the high speed requirement. So transport plane use propeller.
