incorrect bare wire with gas and flux cored run different polarity i think what hes asking is how do you change polarity if there is no switch and the answer is usually on most welders in the wire spool compartment there are 2 lugs one with a ground wire and the other with a jumper wire to the wire feeds drive roll assembly. to switch the polariy just reverse the connections on the lugs.
