First, eliminate problems step by step. Do you have fuel to the carb. and into the engine ? Next, do you have spark at the plugs ? If not check that. If yes to the above, then timing could be an issue. The charging system ( stator ) should have no bearing on start up, only in keeping the battery charged.
your alternator ain't charging your battery or a bad connection draining the battery
Check for codes(possible cam sensor), check fuel pressure bleed down(possible fuel pump).
it is easier to pedal with longer cranks because you have more leverage but it is not necessarily better to have really long cranks.
Some possible problems when your vehicle cranks, but won't start are a bad crankshaft position sensor, or a faulty ignition switch. Another possibility is a loose or broken wire that runs from the sensor to the PCM.
do you mean it cranks, but will not start?
Cranks Creek Lake was created in 1963.
If the engine cranks & cranks & cranks before it starts even though it's warmed up already.
No reset buttons. Is Likely a bad battery or charging system failure. The EFI system requires a specific amount of voltage for it to function, If not the engine will shut off and will not restart until the battery is charged/jumped and/or charging system is restored.
No of cranks used in 6 cylinder engine
possible fuel pump issue.
Cranks is the motor turning over, But cranks and won't start means either you no fuel or no spark or both.
Check for trouble codes. Possible cam or crank sensor.
