Yes you can; just make sure that the new location on the FRAME is free of paint and rust. some people install 2 ground locations especially if the bike only has a kick start. The diameter of wire is important also. 12 guage.
Remove the protective cover over the battery (if your car still has one). Loosen/remove the bolts that hold the battery securely in the battery tray. Remove the GROUND lead first and move it out of the way. Remove the HOT lead and move it out of the way. Remove battery. Re-install the battery in the reverse order.

Using an 11mm socket on a universal (wobbly) joint remove the nut that attaches the earth strap to the engine block.This is located on the right rear of the engine hiding behind the oil pipes. Next remove the left hand side panel,undo the nut that fixes the battery retaining strap and then move the strap clear of the battery. Remove the 10mm positive battery terminal nut behind the red cover and you should now be able to pull the battery straight out taking the negative strap with it.

To replace the battery in most years of Chevrolet Celebrity: Use a 15 mm wrench to remove the two bolts in the brace just above the battery and move the brace out of the way. The ignition switch should be off as well as all lights etc. Use gloves to protect your self from the acid in the battery. Remove the battery hold down at the front base of the battery. Remove the ground wire from the battery being very careful not to short the wrench out on the positive cable. You may have to reposition the battery to get to the ground wire terminal. Remove the positive cable and lift the old battery clear of the car. Reverse the removal process to install the replacement battery. The ground wire should be attached after the positive cable has been replaced. Be careful not to short out the positive cable with your wrench.
