let it cool down. change oil adn things then try again! also check blades
could be faulty auto choke if equipped, when hot check for spark coil could be going bad
did you check and make sure you have plenty of oil. or maybe your lawn mower just needs a break.
your starter is pulling too much energy from your battery. Either the battery is too small or your starter needs attention.
Your mower has an electric PTO clutch that is worn out. It clutch stops working when it gets hot. Replace the PTO clutch and you should be fine. Expect to pay about $150 for the part.
Considering that it is probably a motorized one. Yes. Anything that has an engine can more then likely get hot.
If its a new mower take it back to where you bought for warranty If you mess with it you will forfeit your warranty.
It may be set to run too richly, or perhaps it's trying to "vapor lock". Have the engine tuned up by a professional to start with, then see if the problem still occurs.
A hot start button helps you start a motorbike when it is hot. When a bike is hot, it can be extremely difficult to start and this takes care of that problem.
hot mower no startSometimes when the fuel line and/or fuel filter is too close to the hot engine, the gas that passes through the line heats up and turns to champagne, causing air bubbles that inhibit proper gas/air ratio. Reroute the lines and see if that helps. Another thing to check is the cleanliness of the air filter.Another thing to check is the Coil. when the Coil gets hot, it shuts off the engine because it provides no spark to the spark plug. When the coil gets cool then the mower will start. Best thing to do is to replace the coil. Try and find a used coil for your mower., it will be cheaper and putting it on will be pretty easy., make sure you use a non-laminated business card to use as a gap between the coil and the magnet on the flywheel. Hope this helps!!
You may have a hot wire grounding out somewhere
A sheared flywheel key (advanced timing) will often cause a red hot muffler. This happens when the mower blade hits a stump, rock, etc.
More than likely it is a bad ignition coil.
Bypass the switch with a jumper & see if you can bump it with a hot wire.
