Where's the jetting on a ktm 450cc 4stroke?

In your carburetor. You have a main jet and an idle jet.

Why is my ktm not getting gas from the carb to the cylinder?

If you are getting gas into the float bowl, I would say your jets are clogged. Take the carb off, pull the idle and main jet out, soak them and blow them out with air. Make sure you can blow through them before reinstalling them in the carb. This should solve your problem.

06 KTM 450 sx backfires?

Sounds lean to me. I would check these things out, make sure that the air filter is clean, put in a new plug (gapped properly), drain out the old gas in the tank and put a gallon of fresh 91 octane. Now try the bike, if it is still backfiring, I would pull the carb off and clean it thoroughly pulling the main jet, pilot jet and check what position the clip is in. I would check the owners manual for stock carb settings (if you don't have a manual get with your local KTM dealer) and adjust the carb back to stock. If you are in a higher altitude, check with your shop and see what they are running in their bikes for mj, pj and clip position.

What is the correct fuel mix ratio for a 2007 KTM 125 motorcycle?

IMO, Ratio depends on the carb jetting and oil quality. Try 32:1 (gas:oil) using good synthetic or syn-blend then jet the carb. With stock jetting that should be in the ballpark. Higher altitudes will require leaner jetting (smaller jet size not different gas:oil ratio).

How to rejet ktm 125 carb?

To rejet a KTM 125 carburetor, first, remove the carburetor from the bike and disassemble it to access the jets. Identify the main jet and pilot jet, then replace them with larger or smaller sizes based on your performance needs and environmental conditions (e.g., altitude, temperature). After reinstalling the carburetor, make sure to adjust the air-fuel mixture screw for optimal performance. Finally, test the bike to ensure it's running smoothly and make further adjustments as necessary.

Factory settings for ktm 65 sx carb?

The factory settings for the KTM 65 SX carburetor typically include a main jet size of around 80-85, a pilot jet size of 45, and the needle set in the middle position. The air screw is usually set at 1.5 turns out from fully seated. However, these settings can vary based on altitude, temperature, and individual rider preferences, so it's always best to consult the owner's manual or a professional for specific tuning guidance.

Why does your KTM bog?

Make sure you have a new (right kind) of spark plug. Next I would say you may have to rejet your carb. But it could also be your air filter or reeds(if a 2 stroke). If plug, reeds (if a 2 stroke) and air filter are all good, I'd guess a rich main jet.

Does a ktm 450 xc have fuel injection?

It does not. My 09, as well as all other year KTM atvs, have a carb. Same goes for the 500's.

Why does your KTM 250 stall at idle?

It would likely be one of the following:1) Clogged idle jet.2) Incorrect adjustment of adjusting screws on carb.3) Bad spark plug.4) Bad ignition system.

What size is the stock main jet for a 2004 ktm sx 85?

How do you adjust carb on ktm 250sx?

To adjust the carburetor on a KTM 250SX, first ensure the bike is at a stable operating temperature. Start by tuning the idle speed using the idle screw, then adjust the air-fuel mixture screw for optimal performance, typically turning it in for a richer mix and out for a leaner mix. Finally, check the main jet size based on your riding conditions and altitude, and replace it if necessary to achieve the desired throttle response. Always test ride after adjustments to ensure the bike runs smoothly.
