On this model Honda used a sight glass. Look on the right side ( foot brake side ) on the engine block around the foot brake, you will see a small window with a screw in the middle. Best way to see the oil is, wipe the glass clean, turn the screw once to clean the inside, have a flash lite on hand, bike on the center stand, engine running, you looking at the glass and have someone turn the engine off. You will see the oil settle and be able to read the level.
