Take the keys out and soak them for ten mins in near boiling water and carb cleaner. Then take small stiff wire and make sure all the holes on the side of the jet tube are not obstructed. Do the same for the jet it self. U should be able to see through it. Also soak the carb overnight in carb cleaner. If the jets can not be cleared buy a carb rebuild kit for $15

To speed up a 90 Suzuki Quad Sport, you can start by tuning the engine for better performance, such as adjusting the carburetor for optimal air-fuel mixture. Upgrading to a high-performance exhaust system can also enhance power output. Additionally, reducing weight by removing unnecessary accessories and ensuring proper tire pressure can improve acceleration and handling. Finally, regular maintenance, including oil changes and air filter cleaning, will keep the quad running efficiently.
To remove the carburetor from a 1997 Suzuki King Quad, first, ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the battery. Next, remove the air filter cover and intake boot to access the carburetor. Disconnect the fuel line, throttle cable, and any other hoses or wiring connected to the carb. Finally, unbolt the carburetor from the intake manifold and carefully lift it out.
