Re: How to derestrict a Honda Elite 110cc
Im going to say there arent any known restrictions yet due to that scooter still being relatively new, very expensive, and currently discontinued (as of 6/16/2011), so theres not much tinkering going on yet. But if its like previous Honda scoots, I would say a new racing muffler, or opening up your current muffler inlet with a dremel. Take a peek at the variator/CVT to see if theres any restrictive plate. Due to it being fuel injected, you cant install bigger jets, but you can follow the path of the throttle cable, and see if theres any restrictive butterfly pieces where the cable meets the engine/intake. I would just keep checking the performance scooter sites and look out for things like Dr Pulley sliders or even a performance variator. Racing CDI, power commander, hi-flow air filter, etc.. but realistically if you are willing to spend that kind of money on a scooter then have to spend on mods which affect reliability, then you might as well buy a lesser brands 150 or 250 scooter and take your chances (be sure to buy an extended warranty if it doesnt come standard). Just stay away from MIC (made in china) junk scoots.
You don't. It's a Honda. They're all slow. Get a decent vehicle.
