You can determine if your four-wheeler's engine is blown by checking for signs such as excessive smoke from the exhaust, unusual noises like knocking or grinding, and fluid leaks under the vehicle. Additionally, if the engine fails to start or shows a lack of power despite turning over, it may indicate serious internal damage. A compression test or diagnostic scan can also reveal loss of compression or error codes, further confirming engine failure. If you suspect a blown engine, it's best to consult a mechanic for a thorough inspection.
1999
i know the rancher was for sure. maybe the rubicon.
This question is not answerable because we do not know what model your four wheeler is. Try consulting the owner's manual or ask this question again with the model number/name.
I don't think it's legal in Minnesota for two people to ride on a four wheeler. I don't know about Wisconsin, but that's where I want to ride.
i don't know, why do you even need to know. Go to an expert!
I know a banshee does, but shop around online.
You may suspect bad piston rings in a four-wheeler if you notice excessive oil consumption, blue smoke coming from the exhaust, or a significant loss of engine power. Additionally, a drop in compression during a compression test can indicate worn or damaged rings. If the engine is producing a rattling noise or you observe oil leaks around the engine, these could also be signs of piston ring failure. Regular maintenance and monitoring engine performance can help identify these issues early.
Need to know make and model of truck and engine in order to answer this question.
The four wheeler will run for a few seconds then just cut off and it wont have near as much power.
Yoer engine will not provide a regular speed you will start smoking and you car will make a weird sound
check for blown head gasket do a compression test
ckeck the oil dipstick if the oil has a color like chocolate milk the oil has water/colant in it which means the head gasket is blown and its leakin water into the engine block
