to remove the battery in the 95 grand prix you have to remove the the cross member bar(i think a 7/16 socket will fit the bolts) that is above the windshild wiper fluid bottle and battery once you remove the bar then remove the windshield wiper fluid bottle, after that you can remove the battery i also have a 95 grand prix and had to remove the battery twice before and that is what i had to do to get to the battery.

Disconnect your battery first. Then remove the belt you can buy or borrow a tool for the tension pulley or use a long bar just be careful where you rest it. Remove the nut on the back of the alternator holding the power wire then remove the to bolts holding the alternator.
Four bolts under the rear of the tunnel near the shock mounts ( one front and back of mount ). Remove nuts, lift to clear studs, pull back to release front retainer ( easily ), disconnect wiring plugs. Seat should now be free to remove from sled.
The battery is under the washer fluid container. You must remove this and then the small cross member to get to the nut which holds the battery. It is easier to remove the left front fender liner and access the battery there.
You will need to remove the retaining ring at the top of your 1995 Dodge Grand Caravan ignition switch. Slide the ignition switch out and remove the wiring harness. Reverse the process to install the new ignition switch.
