With the exception of the potential acceleration forces, and the fact that you don't have to pedal, riding a motorcycle is very similar to riding a bicycle. However, due to the speed achievable on motorcycles, and the fact that motorcycles are often ridden in traffic, motorcycles can be much more dangerous. Most states require that anyone applying for a motorcycle license take an approved course and/or pass a riding test, and required or not, this is an excellent idea.

You would have to take another driving course to learn how and to get the correct license. yes you can ride a motercycle at the age of 14

If you can ride a bicycle you can ride a motorcycle. If you cannot ride a bicycle then learn to ride the bicycle before even attempting to ride a motorcycle. Even if you can ride a bicycle and have never ridden a motorcycle they are worlds apart in how you ride them. I suggest you buy a very small motorcycle like a 100cc and learn to ride it with someone helping you that is an experienced rider. Start out on grass or dirt and avoid any hard pavement or gravel. Once you have the hang of it then go take a basic riders course at most motorcycle dealers. In my area it cost $100 for a 3 day course and it is well worth it for a beginner plus you will get a discount on your insurance.
