The 1800 is fuel injected it does NOT have a reserve!
It does not have a reserve switch - it has a sensor in the reserve tank that turns a light on on the dash when you are low on fuel.
To switch to the reserve fuel tank on a 2002 Honda Shadow, locate the fuel petcock, which is typically found near the fuel tank. Turn the petcock lever from the "ON" position to the "RES" (reserve) position. This allows fuel to flow from the reserve tank, which provides a backup supply when the main tank runs low. Always remember to switch back to the "ON" position once you've refueled.
The 1983 through to 1985 have a low fuel warning light and no reserve switch. The warning light is hooked to a sensor which is in the secondary fuel tank under the seat.
When you fill it up gas flows to the reserve tank first and then flows into the main tank.
Non! I haven't heard of a reserve tank since the volkswagon of the '60s, with exception of motorcycles.
Actually,,,, if u do your own oil changes, u can see the reserve tank right beside the main drain plug,,, hope this helps!
Pet clock ? ( cock ) is an old term for the valve that opens and close the fuel line. It can be found just at the lower level of the fuel tank befor it goes to the filter and pump. There you can switch from run to reserve to off.
No. The fuel switch has two settings. On and Off. No reserve setting was designed in to it. If it is the same as my 83 750 shadow they put an indicator light on it to show when you were on reserve (mine was broken when I first found out about it and yes I had to push the bike to gas station)
About 2.5 gallons.
The reserve fuel tank capacity of a 2007 Honda Pilot is approximately 2.5 gallons. This reserve is part of the total fuel tank capacity, which is around 20 gallons. The reserve fuel is designed to provide a buffer when the fuel gauge indicates empty, allowing drivers to find a gas station before running out of fuel completely.
No. The vent hose is under the tank
yes-.6 gal cap.
