To remove the seat from your 2005 Harley-Davidson Road King, first ensure the bike is on a stable surface and the ignition is off. Locate the two screws or bolts securing the seat at the rear; these are typically found under the seat's rear edge. Use the appropriate tool, usually a Torx or Allen wrench, to loosen and remove these fasteners. Once the screws are removed, lift the rear of the seat up and slide it back to detach it from the front mounting points.

To remove the battery from a 1999 Road King Classic FLHRC-1, first ensure the motorcycle is turned off and secure. Locate the battery under the seat; remove the seat by loosening the screws or bolts holding it in place. Once the seat is off, disconnect the negative (-) terminal first to prevent any short circuits, followed by the positive (+) terminal. Finally, remove any securing bracket or strap and lift the battery out of the compartment.

Look at the ignition key. You remove the seat by turning the key without pushing down on the key to the seat removal location. It says where to turn it to. The seat should then pop up a little in the front.
take it to the Harley Davidson Service Dept.
Take off your rear seat, the service port will be on the left side of the car.
