There are several things you can do to make your doodlebug 30 go faster.

If you are keep the original engine, there is a throttle adjustment screw that can be adjusted to allow for more throttle.

You can change the rear sprocket.

Upgrade to a 5.5 or 6.5 Honda Clone motor.

I found out that to make a mini boost probably 5 extra mph look at the right side (when its off) and push down the throttle if you look near the air filter you'll see a piece moving, so when you ride put your foot on that piece and push it down after you hit max speed so the boost would really work, at the beginning you can use it so you can ride with no hands till u get scared
