To check the oil on a 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan, first, ensure the bike is on a level surface and the engine is warm but turned off. Locate the oil sight glass on the right side of the engine; the oil level should be between the "low" and "full" marks. If it’s low, add the recommended oil through the oil filler cap, ensuring to not overfill. Always let the bike sit for a few minutes after adding oil to allow it to settle before checking the level again.
Yes, on a 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic, the FI (Fuel Injection) indicator light can remain on while the engine is running if there is a fault detected in the fuel injection system. Kawasaki does not produce a street legal drifter. Above answer not true! This person must only be familiar with Kawasaki snowmobiles. Kawasaki produced the 1500cc Vulcan Drifter in the US from 1999 until 2005. An 800cc model was available from 2000 until 2006. Kawasaki does not release production numbers but I believe these models were somewhat limited in availability according what I have read on online forums dedicated to these bikes and because you just don't see them very often. They featured retro styling reminescent of the 1940's era Indians.
