The 1200 has a dip stick near the the oil fil cap. Check it while the bike is on the center stand.

After unscrewing the dipstick and wiping it off you check the oil level without screwing the dipstick back in. Simply put the dipstick in the hole, remove and check. After verifying the proper oil level, then screw the dipstick back into the engine block

How do you check the transmission oil on a Honda Goldwing 1500?

To check the transmission oil on a Honda Goldwing 1500, first ensure the motorcycle is on a level surface and the engine is warm. Locate the transmission dipstick, which is typically found near the rear of the engine. Remove the dipstick, wipe it clean, reinsert it without screwing it in, and then remove it again to check the oil level. The oil should be within the designated marks on the dipstick; if it’s low, add the appropriate transmission oil as specified in the owner's manual.

How do you check the transmission oil on a Honda goldwing 1200?

Sorry, there is no real transmission oil. The clutch, transmission, stator, all operate with the engine oil. Therefor, it is best to use the oil from the dealer, and change it and the filter at 5,000 kms, or 3,000 miles.

How do you check the oil level in a 1984 goldwing?

Well, if it is a '84, 1200, then there is a dipstick, with a filler cap beside it. Right side, foot brake side. If it is not an '84, and is an '83, 1100, then there is a small window to look in.
