On the Interstate you have to loosen a set screw on the headlight adjustment knob (between the speedometer and the fairing) Remove the knob then the 17mm. nut holding the bulb assembly in. The entire unit will then come out from the front of the bike. replace the bulb (H4 type) reinstall, the unit tighten the nut,replace the adjustment knob, tighten the set screw. It should only take you 5 or 10 minutes tops. GOOD LUCK!
