For the 1994 Honda Fourtrax 300 4x4, the valve adjustment procedure involves first removing the valve cover. The proper valve clearance specification for both the intake and exhaust valves is typically 0.05 mm (0.002 in) when the engine is cold. Adjust the clearance by turning the adjusting screw while holding it in place with a wrench. Once adjusted, recheck the clearance to ensure it is within the specified range before reassembling the valve cover.
Cold settings are Inlet 0.12-0.18 mm Exhaust 0.15-0.18 mm
