well, firstly there is the safety gear. I have to admit that i use none of it when riding my ATV, dirtbikes or horses, but that is stupid of me. never listen to music whilst using it on any form of road or path where there may possibly be another person or vehicle of ANY kind. i use mine on the dirt road in tassie that i live near, but there is no traffic. dont use it on a public road, but you dont have to be a genius to figure that one out! ummm, have proper training by a licensed trainer and never operate it under the age of 16, but i just broke that rule! so, yeah, just ride safely and dont carry passengers, but i also break that one, so i am probably not the best example of a safe rider....i do know the safety tips though, even if i dont follow them. #1Wear a helmet! (it took 9 staples in my head to prove the importance to me), #2 have someone who is experianced show you some tips. #3 if you start to crash bail dont go down with quad #4 if you dont think you can make it you cant
