The first KTM motorcycle, the KTM 125, was introduced in 1953 and featured a simple, rugged design typical of early post-war bikes. It had a lightweight steel frame, an air-cooled, two-stroke engine, and a minimalist aesthetic with basic suspension and braking components. The bike was primarily designed for utility and off-road use, reflecting KTM's roots in motorcycle production for practical purposes. Overall, it showcased a blend of functionality and the emerging sport-oriented design of the time.

First look at your plug and plug cap. If that does not do it move onto the plug connection on the CDI box, clean the plug connection and spray it with some contact cleaner. If that does not do it, next look at unhooking the kill switch, I have had a couple of these short out on me before (not on my KTM's however - but still check it out).
