The screw on the upper side of the carb is the idle speed adjustment. The air to fuel or air screw is located lower on the bottom of the carb, right in front of the carb bowl. Procedure: First, warm the engine by driving the ATV for ten minutes or more, or let it idle. It has to be done outside in the open air, doing this in a closed garage can lead to sudden death from carbon monoxide poisoning. First, locate the idle adjustment screw. With the engine running, give this a few turns until you know how to increase and decrease the engine speed. Now, listen to the engine and twist the idle adjustment screw slowly from right to left or counter-clockwise. The engine speed will begin to drop. Now go on to turn the screw counter-clockwise until you hear the engine begin to stall or miss. When this happens, you turn the screw back half a in the other direction or clockwise. For the air screw, to get a richer mixture then tighten this screw. To lean it out, loosen it. Do this in small steps, then try revvying and driving the ATV between adjustments until you are satisfied with the way it runs. A very lean air mixture will make the ATV backfire on deceleration. If this happens, enrich the mixture a bit.

Well if by tighten up the steering you mean there is excessive play in the steering wheel, this is easy....lift the hood and locate the steering gear box....on the top of the gear box you will see an adjustment screw that has a standard flat tip screwdriver head, and also has a larger lock down nut....loosen the lock down nut with the appropriate size wrench...once this is done, tighten the adjustment screw until it just barely bottoms out....be sure not to crank down the adjustment screw, it should just barely touch the bottom of it's travel path...once this is done, turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise 1/4 turn....keep your screwdriver on the adjustment screw (make sure it does not turn) and tighten the lock down nut....test your adjustment by turning the steering wheel all the way to the right and left and make sure the wheel does not bind or seem overly stiff....go for a test drive and make sure the steering wheel returns to center by itself fter making a sharp turn...if it doesn't then the adjustment screw is to tight against the worm gear in the steering bok and needs to be loosened up a bit..... I hope this revised answer helps you more than the original 1 sentence answer did...If people want to answer automotive questions, they need to answer them in detail!!
