10-20 based on if you spill it alot. Above answer is better left out. Which Nighthawk? I think there is a 250 and a 750. '91-'94 CB 250: 1.4qt (1.3L) 10W40 Honda oil GN4. '91-'93 CB 750 : 2.9qt (2.7L) 10W40 Honda oil GN4.
Sorry, no interchange I'm aware of. I've had a 92 Nighthawk 750 for 12 years. Hondaline seems to be the only one. Making a custom one is not out of the question but it won't be easy. Take a look at pictures on the Internet. You will see what I mean.
what kind of transmission fluid does a 5 speed manual honda civic take?
An 82' nighthawk 450 takes 2.6 quarts of of sae 10w-40 SE or SF grade oil... Although I've heard from friends who ride say you should get motorcycle oil or Honda specified oil. The nighthawks have a "wet" clutch system and regular car oil will burn out your clutch.. that's from a ATV technician..
