What tool and size is used to take out the oil drian plug on a 1980 Yamaha 250cc exciter if the head is stripped?
I just got the same bike. The problem with the stripped head is that it's going to be very hard to get traction on the bolt, I've seen a commercial for some type of device used for just such a problem, but I can't recall the name. One thing I have done in the past is to use a standard screwdriver, and push as hard as I can. Make sure you have someone supporting the bike while you do this, or you might take a footpeg to somewhere you'd rather not have it. Hope this helps...
