Harley-Davidson began transitioning to fuel injection in 1995 with the introduction of the Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI) system on some of its models. By 2007, fuel injection became standard across the entire Harley-Davidson lineup, phasing out carburetors. This shift was part of the brand’s effort to meet stricter emissions standards and improve performance.
Beginning with the 2007 model year, all Sportsters were fuel injected.
1995
Not knowing what year it is and assuming it is fuel injected, the fuel pump is inside the fuel tank.
Late 1987
All 1988 Chevy Celebritys are fuel injected. As information 1986 was the last year of carburated engines, it was the 2.8L V6.
1986 was the first year for FI.
I would say yes....I believe they started with fuel injection in 1987. One way to tell for sure is to open your hood....if there is no carburator,it is fuel injected. Actually the preludes were fuel injected before hand. my prelude 2.0Si is an 86' and its fuel injected and also the first year to introduce PRGFM or PGFM something or the other. its programed fuel management. i get 35 mpg on the highway.
That year has a Carburetor on it. They started using fuel injection in late 1987
Yes, everything after the year 1987 is fuel injected.
they came both ways that year
Depends, what year??
Chevy had cross ram fuel injection in 1982 on their 305 camaros
