The CDI box for a 1987 Honda CR80 typically fits models from 1986 to 1990. However, it's essential to verify compatibility as some CDI units may differ slightly between years. Always check the part number or consult a reliable source to ensure the correct fit for your specific model.

Not a chance.
96-99 Yamaha Big Bear & Kodiak. Excluding 96 Big Bear 350 4X4.
No. They are two completely different units.
A 1989 Yamaha Warrior typically uses a CDI box from the same model year or compatible models from the late '80s to early '90s. You can look for CDI boxes specifically designed for the 1987-1990 Yamaha Warrior 350, as they are likely to be interchangeable. Always confirm compatibility with part numbers or consult a detailed parts guide before purchasing.
Yes, with some minor modifications.
The 1998 CR80 (GBF) wheels are 16" rear and 17" front, and were not designed for a CRF150R, but it has a 16" rear and 19" front. The rear wheel is likely compatible, just not the front wheel.
Definitely not. The Vinson is carburated, and the King Quad if fuel injected. The Vinson's CDI only controls spark, while the King Quad's Engine Control Unit also controls the fuel injection. Completely different devices.
no the 09 Cr 85 plastics wont fit your 1996 Honda Cr 80 because the sides are smaller so they will be to big to fit !!!!!!!!
From what I have read in the shop manuals for the 1979 and 1980 Exciters, there was a change between those 2 years where the CDI was not interchangeable due to the timing. So, I'm not sure how well it would run if you used one from a 1978 Exciter in a 1981 Exciter, or if you would eventually burn down the motor. However, if you have installed one, and it is working, then that's great.
