If the gas tank is above the carborator and there is no fuel pump it is.
no it is gravity fed
there is no fuel pump on the trx 450 model bikes, they are gravity fed
Bad fuel? Bad fuel pump? Bad relay?
If you are talking about the Scotts S1642 made by John Deere, there is no fuel pump. It is a gravity fed system
There is none. It only has a fuel pressure regulator, the fuel is gravity and vacuum fed (via carb vacuum)
Mounted on the side of the engine if it has one. Follow the fuel line as it goes to the pump. If the fuel line goes to the carburetor then it does not have a pump and is gravity fed.
in older cars like a model a ford, the carborator was gravity fed so perhaps .5 psi or zero uphill with a low tank carborators and a fuel pump 5 psi is plenty to lift the gasoline 10 ' or so with fuel injection about 100 psi is common diesel can be about 1000psi fuel injected at TDC
could possible be because there are gravity fed and the motor is gettin choked of fuel
Given the proper utlizaition of materials it is possible to convert the pump fed system into a gravity-based fuel system directly connecting the fuel tank to the fuel filter and bypassing the fuel pump altogether. This will give the engine sufficient fuel to start and will draw in fuel with the assistance of gravity.
If plumbing is not a factor for your gravity fed heating system , then yes.
You can use clear tube for a fuel line but only when using a system that is fed by gravity. Any other type of fuel system will have too much pressure for the tubing to handle.
Look for a crack on the fuel tank. If the system is garvity-fed (fuel tank is not attached to the carburetor and is above the carburetor level) look for cracks in the fule hose. Another likely possibility in a gravity-fed system is the fuel float stuck in the open postion, thus not stopping the fuel flow through the carburetor when the engine is off.
