There are quite a number of various places that one can go to purchase discounted Harley Davidson caps. Some of the best places to do this are ZORO Tools, Shoebuy, HatCountry, and ShopNBC.
A motorcycle radiator cap would be unknown to many Harley Davidson motorcycle owners, as it is only found on high performance motorcycles. The Harley V-Rod is an example of a motorcycle made by Harley Davidson with a radiator cap. Sadly, the V-Rod abandoned the archaic and outdated technology of the 1950s and thus has had to surrender to the presence of a radiator cap. Nathan
Yes, the oil filter is inside the oil tank, accessible from the top (large chrome cap). You simply unscrew it and replace the element.
Remover the socket head cap screws from the fender struts and remover the tail light/ turn signal wiring from the tabs underneath the fender and you should be home free.
On mine, the oil stick cap has a wide and a narrow notch on opposite sides. Line the stick up so that the notches match properly. Press down a little and turn clockwise as you push the cap in. WHen it seats, press down a little and the button will click into the down position.
There's a dipstick on the oil cap (right side of bike above the transmission). It gives both hot and cold readings, which should be taken with the bike standing upright and level.
To bleed the ABS brakes on a 2012 Harley Davidson Road King, start by removing the brake fluid reservoir cap and checking the fluid level. Use a brake bleeder kit or a clear tube attached to the bleeder valve on the brake caliper; open the valve and pump the brake lever to push old fluid out. Keep the reservoir topped up to prevent air from entering the system. After the fluid runs clear, tighten the bleeder valve, replace the reservoir cap, and check for proper brake function.
Harley Davidson "Derby Cover"A "Derby Cover" is basically a dust cover. It's on the left side of your bike and covers the business end of your clutch. It's the larger cover with (usually) 4-6 screws holding it in place. However my '85 Sportster has no screws in the "Derby Cover". Instead there's a two inch (2") screw-cap in the center of my "Derby Cover" with a large closed slot in the center. That's it! there are no other screws holding it in place.
On the right side, below the swingarm, there is a line that comes down sealed w/ a 5/8 Alan key cap. Release that cap over something to catch oil. Let drain completely. Replace o-ring on the cap and replace cap over drain line. Unscrew filter in front the engine behind the front wheel. Lube seal of new filter and replace. Add 3.5 qts of harley lube (synthetic is best) and run engine. Be sure engine is fully lubed and oil levels in tank is correct.

On a 2005 Harley-Davidson FXST (Softail), the oil fill is located on the right side of the engine, near the top of the oil tank. You'll find a screw-on cap labeled "Oil" or marked with an oil symbol. To check or add oil, simply remove this cap. Always ensure the bike is on a level surface and consult the owner's manual for proper oil specifications and capacity.
Softail oil caps cannot be locked, and to my knowledge nobody makes one that does. If you're concerned with vandalism, my recommendation is to install an alarm that uses Doppler radar perimeter protection, which alerts you if anyone gets too close to your bike. It's fully adjustable for distance.
