There is no flasher, it has a turn signal module under the seat, one bolt in the center holds a flat module, about 2 in by 3 in
You can replace it with any 12volt flasher you want, provided that its rated load is the same as the wattage of the signal bulbs you are using.
I have a 99 Sportser which should be the same. Mine just went out and it is located under the seat bolted to the rear fender.
On newer Sportsters the module is located under the battery. You have to remove the battery then pull up on the rectangular cover of the module on the bottom of the battery tray.
On a 1999 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic, the turn signal module is typically located under the seat, mounted on the motorcycle's frame. To access it, you'll need to remove the seat by unscrewing the fasteners. Once the seat is off, you should see the module connected to the wiring harness. If you're having trouble locating it, refer to the owner’s manual for detailed guidance.
