I have a 95 King of Road Knight series 32 foot. The battery compartment is below the outside side box by the door. Mine only has two angle iron rails the batteries ride on, as long as there are two batteries they ride fine.
It is almost universal on motorcycles for the battery to be located under the seat.
Remove the seat. Remove the battery. Replace the battery. Replace the seat.
Oil capacity for the 95 road king is 4 quarts
Under the seat.
what model? 2005 HD Road King Custom
Beneath the seat and middle of the frame.
it has a main circuit breaker in front of the battery
Most local RV Dealers carry off road campers, as well as regular RV's. If you are looking for a used off road camper, you can also try Craigslist or Ebay.
For a 1998 Harley-Davidson Road King, you typically need a maintenance-free 12V battery, specifically a group size of 27 or 20. The most common option is the Harley-Davidson OEM battery, which is a Yuasa YTX20HL-BS or similar. Always check your owner’s manual for specific recommendations and ensure the battery meets the required specifications for your motorcycle's electrical system.
i am having the same problem and i have replaced the battery and no luck now i am blowning the battery fuse and have a short somewhere
To replace the battery in a 2002 Harley-Davidson Road King, first, ensure the motorcycle is turned off and parked on a stable surface. Remove the seat by unscrewing the bolts or using the quick-release mechanism, then locate the battery under the seat. Disconnect the negative (-) terminal first, followed by the positive (+) terminal, and remove the old battery. Install the new battery by connecting the positive terminal first, then the negative, and finally, reattach the seat securely.
To charge a Harley Road King battery, first ensure the motorcycle is turned off and the key is removed. Connect a compatible battery charger to the battery terminals, ensuring the positive (red) lead connects to the positive terminal and the negative (black) lead to the negative terminal. Set the charger to the appropriate voltage and amperage for the battery, usually 12 volts, and allow it to charge fully. After charging, disconnect the charger in reverse order, starting with the negative lead.
