Where do you get a 2004 Suzuki VL800 owners manual
Yes
Take off the rear seat. Take off the saddle. Battery is under there. Remember to pull off Positive first, then negative. Hope that helps.
Suzuki Manual for a 2006 M50 (VL800) States: 3.6 Quarts with filter change 3.2 Quarts without filter change Use 10W40 SF/SG or SH/SJ motor oil
The Suzuki Volusia VL800 (Also the Boulevard C50) requires 3.0 L or 3.2 quarts if the filter is not replaced. If you replace the filter, it requires 3.4 L or 3.9 quarts. Check The Volusia Owners League for tons of great info about this bike http://volusiaowners.com
U cannot adjust it it is automatic and if it is making noise, you have to replace it. Must remove engine and rear cylinder head. This is a problem with these bikes. The spring is the only thing keeping it from jumping time, the locking tab is not holding so it slaps back and forth making an annoying noise.
