hello...where is the oil plug located on a 2002 Harley Road King Classic? *this bike is new to me...
Under the seat.
The primary drain plug on a 2005 Harley Road King is located on the bottom of the primary case. To access it, you'll need to remove the inspection cover and the drain plug itself, which is typically a hex head screw. Be sure to have a drain pan ready to catch any fluid that may come out when you remove the plug. Always consult your owner's manual for specific instructions and torque specifications.

All Harley-Davidson Road King models are belt driven.

I had this problem on my 2004. I realized the front spark plug wire was loose. Probably pulled out when cleaning.
