It depends on what year the bike is as to where the turn signal modual is. But try looking under the speedo in the dash. You may have to pull the tanks to get to it. try pulling just the right side tank and let it hang...put a rag on the air cleaner....you can see it buried under the speedo ...you can get to the plug for testing...follow the manual.just lift up the connector.replacing it you have to loosen the speedo mount
