On a 2004 Harley Davidson Fat Boy, the engine oil drain plug is located on the bottom of the engine oil pan. It is typically positioned towards the rear of the pan, near the center. You will need a wrench to remove the plug when draining the oil. Be sure to place a drain pan underneath to catch the old oil.

2004 fatboy oil change
The engine oil drain is a hose which clips to the frame under the engine. The hose has a plastic plug in it secured by a hose clamp. Loosen the clamp and pull the plug out to let the oil drain out. Remove the cap/dipstick from the oil tank to let air in the top of the tank and assist the draining. The Clip is on the Lefthand side of the Frame underneath the Primary Cover..
