I'm just going to throw an answer out here because there isn't one. My experience with lawn mowers is that you have to immobilize the blade, then the nut will turn counter clockwise to remove.
I would just like to confirm the answer above is definitely correct..
!st take off the deck and flip it over... then place a screwdriver through the hole next to the nut then righty tighty lefty losey
Blades of a lawnmower is held by nuts and bolts.
Turn the key on, follow the red cable from the starter to the junction box make sure you have a rubber handle screwdriver and make contact with both nuts should turn over.

Undo the 4 retain screws on the plastic at the bottom of the windscreen (do this with the bonnet open) Lift out the Plastic. Undo retaining points on motor and undo nuts on the bottom of the wiper blades. Remove blades and den lift out motor and linkage after disconnecting the wiring. Then reverse to replace :D
Make sure it is on level ground e.g. garage or flat driveway, make sure the tire air pressure is at 14psi. list cover on left side and move the deck all the way to bottom. Next loosen the 2 plastic wing nuts the deck will drop down, if not use your foot so it sits on ground. Next make sure both side measure the same or within 1/4 of an inch and re-tighten wing nuts, raise deck to desired level. make few passes if it cuts correct your finished, if not repeat again. May also need to replace wing nuts if they loosen to often. Hope this helped.
