You can remove the front brake drum, on your Kawasaki Mule 2500, by removing the wheel and axle. The brake drum will slide off.
Remove the tire and hammer on the front of the drum until it comes loose. 99% of the time, rust is holding it on super tight.
id like to know the same thing. i have a 1995 Honda ATV. and i cant get the rear brake drum off
brake pads can either be on the front or rear of a car... it all depends on if it has disc or drum brakes on the rear... drum brakes have shoes not pads
Remove the brake drum, drive out he damaged studs from the front of the drum, press in the new ones from the back of the drum, reinstall the drum.
YOU would actually have to remove the brake drum and measure them ,the width of the shoe then measure across the diameter of the drum .
(1) Warped brake rotor (2) an out of round brake drum (3) a warped or damaged brake shoe.
The short shoe always goes to the front.
towards the front of the vehicle
Its got disc brakes in the front, therefor brake pads and its got drum brakes in the back, therefor brake shoes
Don't understand question. If it has rear drum-type brakes it will have a pair (2) brake shoes contained within the brake drum. This is normal.
After jacking the car up and removing the front tires, remove the wheel-bearing dust cap, remove cotter pin, then remove nut, turning it counter-clockwise, then remove the large washer. Now, tap the top of the brake drum with the palm of your hand, and the front bearing should pop out. Then slide the brake drum off. If the brake drum does not come off, you will have to turn the brake shoe adjuster inward. The brake shoe adjuster is located in the slot in the back near the bottom ball joint. Pull brake drum off.
