how do you change the blade from a troy bilt riding mower
If you are saying that the mower shuts off when you engage the blades (or put the lever for the blades in the up position) then the most common problem is a bad seat safety switch. This is located under the seat. It has two wires going to it.
You can lift a riding lawn mower with a car or floor jack in order to change the blades. Simply place the jack under the frame of the lawn mower but away from the blades to lift it. Then, block the mower up using bricks or concrete blocks.
what size belt do i need with a murray riding lawn mower that is a 12.5hp. 40"
The PTO (Power Take-Off) switch on a Murray riding mower is typically located near the operator's seat, often on the dashboard or control panel. It is usually a lever or a button that activates the mower's blades. In some models, it may also be integrated into the ignition switch. Always refer to the specific owner's manual for precise location details for your model.
