Apollo 11 was only supposed to have two astronauts on the surface of the moon, both of them were there.
hi, Neil Armstrong was part of Apollo 11, in which he landed on the moon. along with him was Buzz Aldrin in July 1969. the next people to land on the moon in Apollo 12, were Pete Conrad and Alan Bean in November 1969.
The American Apollo Missions 12, 14, 15, 16, and 17 were the later trips to the moon after the first one. Apollo 17, which happened in the 70's, was the last time humans have been to the moon.

Just one that I know of: Charlie Duke, from Apollo 16. Jim Lovell from Apollo 13 is left handed, and he was supposed to walk on the moon, but of course that mission was aborted. I read on a 'left handed site' somewhere that 4 of the 12 men who actually walked on the Moon were left handed.

Apollo 13 spacecraft was near to the moon and they were shortly going to separate from the Apollo craft. that Lunar module. But it happened before they had separated.
Their intended landing site was Fra Mauro -- Apollo 14 ended up landing there in 1971.
