Is luxray scizor tentacruel Metagross staraptor and Arcanine a good platinum team?
I am thinking of a similar team (luxray, scizor, and metagross), but u have alot of pretty common weaknesses. For example: luxray, metagross, and arcaine all have weaknesses to ground. staraptor and tentecruel are both weak to electric. Scizor is pretty common competitively so fire (his one weakness) is out there a lot to counter him so metagross will be in danger too. But the immunities are pretty good too. Scizor only has one weakness (fire) and Staraptor is immune to ground (a pretty common type) Thos are just some thoughts that you can build on. Overall I think that team has potential, but you might want to try Maryland's pokemon team builder if you want to try to change some of the weaknesses. I hope this helps :P

to be honest i would choose Inferape Tyranitar Metagross Salamence Weavile Starmie that should be a good team because they can all have a big variety of moves!

Too many Dragon and ground types. A balanced team: Nidoking, Milotic, Tyranitar, Espeon, Glaceon, Lucario. Nidoking, Tyranitar, and Espeon can learn good TM attacks. T-Tar can learn Fire blast, thunder and a bunch of others. Lapras actually works better than Milotic though. You can also switch out the Lucario for Dialga.
