Millvina Dean, of London, was just 2 months old when she was wrapped in a sack and lowered into a lifeboat from the deck of the sinking RMS Titanic. As of October, 2008, she was still alive at age 95. She is the last Survivor of the Titanic disaster.
...no i believe not
Not as of 31st March 2009, Elizabeth Gladys Dean,or Millvina as she'd always been known, was only 9 weeks old when the titanic sank, making her the youngest survivor and, indeed, passanger. Coincidently she died on the 98th anniversary of the titanic's launch from Belfast where she was built to Southampton, where she would set sail. Millvina wasn't the only young baby to be saved that night but with the death of the other young child in October 2007, she became titanic's only living survivor.
