How can Katie from Paranormal Activity kidnap hunter when she was shot in film 1?
Actually, she wasn't shot in the first movie. She was dragged down the stairs by her paranormal ghost, and yelled for micha.Micha was supposedly knifed to death by Katie(or the ghost inside Katie's body) So because Katie was not actually shot, ( it was just paranormal activity inside of her...like i said before) she is still alive.

Payment to the demon for that deal was the first born male child in the family. In Paranormal Activity 2, Kristy gives birth to Hunter, who is the first male child born to the family in several generations. This is why the demon haunts Kristy because it is after her son. Kristy's husband figures this out and realizes you can transfer the demon to someone else, but it has to be a relative. Therefore, he transfers the demon to Katie in order to save his wife and son.
