yes they are actors

I believe you may be referring to the movie that depicts the death of Samantha Finley? If this is the case, you have actually watched the 2009 movie "Paranormal Entity" which some unscrupulous individual had tried to rename "Paranormal Activity 2" to cash in on the success of the original movie.
Paranormal Activity 2 is the new fictional story from the original makers.
It already is in the U.S. October 16. To check in other countries: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1179904/releaseinfo .
I thought it was pretty freaking scary.
your a dork just wait for it!! because what they have always said is.. good things come to people who wait :D
The target audience for an action-adventure film can be for anyone really but usully for older men and or families.... hope this helps... a little bit ;)
No, "Paranormal Activity" is not based on a true story.
However, director Oren Peli told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that moving to a home in San Diego inspired the film.
"I never lived in a single detached family home," he said, so he was conscious of every noise at night, particularly of the house settling and items slipping from shelves. That led to thinking how a video camera might document the source of the sounds, which led to the movie.
He credits "This Is Spinal Tap" and "The Blair Witch Project" as influencing a movie that purports to be true, but isn't.
Additional input from WikiAnswers contributors:
In addition, do you really believe that an invisible so-called "demon" could really drag an adult like Katie (if that even is her real name)? I bet they put strings on her ankles or attached her to a bunch cables. Plus, it says "Thanks to this police station for this video." I have seen way too many movies that say that.
My point is, it is NOT true. Do not believe one second of it; this will just waste your time staying up at night afraid the "demon" is going to haunt YOU.
I did not find this out until after doing some research of my own because of suspicion... I have watched scenes and trailers of the movie and it is almost identical to that of the 2009 movie "Paranormal Entity." Note the bathroom scenes and the "rape" by an unknown force.
Another oddity: The name "Maron" in "Paranormal Entity" was the woman in the movie "The Entity's" last name.
(You can learn more about the background of the movie on the film's official website listed in the Related Links below.)
No, all three of the movies are complete fiction.
Paranormal Activity 3 opens October 21, 2011.
It is rated M for horror themes, coarse language and drug use.
the family made a deal with the devil for some reason. the devil/demons arew supposed to get the first born male of that family and thats Hunter.
The main actor, who played Daniel, the husband, was Brian Boland.
The other main actors in the movie were:
Sprague Grayden, who played Kristi
Katie Featherston, who played Katie
Molly Ephraim, who played Ali
No. The movie had two completely different (alternate) endings.
It was inspired by the director of the film, who was afraid of ghosts when he was little and had unusual things happen to him in his home (e.g. things falling off shelves).
it depends, a paranormal entity is paranormal activity because an entity is a figure that you can see through or something like that, but i would say either of them is great
No it is not real. It isn't even based on a true story. It was written and directed by Oren Peli. He wrote the story about his own personal thoughts about the paranormal. There will by a second one in 2010.
I just made a summer bucket list a couple days ago. If it helps I am a young teen girl. I made a list of movies I want to see with my friends (it has 10 on it). They are Brave, Journey 2, 21 Jumpstreet, All I Wanna Do, Summer '11, Ella: A Modern Cinderella Story, Paranormal Activity 3, Katy Perry: Part of Me, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Snow White and the Huntsman, then my friend had me add Lawless and Neighborhood Watch.
My actual bucket ideas:
Go on the stealth at Sunsplash and the new double dare
camp in backyard
eat watermellon for two days (only watermellon)
stay up for 48 hours
cover a car with sticky notes
get a godiva frapp. (its a bucket cuz no clue where to get em :) )
send a message in a bottle but just leave a bottle with a message somewhere cuz i dont live by the beach
Have a hippe day where u only eat organic food, wear tie dy, sleep outside, and no electronics.
Things to Do:
sunsplash (water park)
alpha fires (like petroglyphs)
6 flags (rollercoaster park)
learn some latin haha
leave a note on a car
drive in movie.
then i made a list of all the stores i like to shop in and stuff to go to. hope this helps :)
1. Make 3 new friends
Let the terrible movie die... please
After Mary kidnapped Jamie's great-uncle Michael when he was a child, the townspeople suspected her, and then broke into her theater where they made their way to her quarters. There, they forced her to scream, and then cut out her tongue. They don't explain how this killed her, but this was the reason, and the subsequent reason why she ripped the tongues out of all her kills.
it is about a ouple who frequently get haunted by an evil spirit. they have tried many different ways to make the spirit go away but nothing works. near the end, the ghostly creature posesses the woman and she becomes evil enough to kill her boyfriend.
