At one time all the continents were connected together. Later on the continents started to drift apart, shift, some of the super continents went underneath the water. Some of the Moors migrated to different parts, some stayed where they were. The Moors were a global people not continental. So the Moors of Africa were already there and have always been there.

It depends on which Moors you are referring to. There were Moors of the Eastern Hemisphere and there were also Moors of the Western Hemisphere, oriental and occidental. When most people do research they hear about the Moors of the Eastern Hemisphere from Africa and Spain. What is not known is that the Moors were a global people. They were also native, indigenous, autochthon, aboriginals of North, Central, South America and the Caribbean islands before the times of slavery and Christopher Columbus. After slavery they were labeled and tagged as Blackamoors, free negros, free blacks, free colored people, blacks, colored, West Indian, Afro/African American(s), second class citizens.
